چکیده
Stretchable electronic skin (e-skin) paves the way for applications that exceed scope of intrinsic rigid devices and hard-to-stretch sensors. The broad application range flexible e-skins benefits from device architectures can simultaneously provide mechanical flexibility superior sensitivity. Classic fractal design provides a simple architecture to achieve desired through structural improved wear comfort, but at expense sensor In this study, proposed method addresses trade-off between stretchability sensitivity in design. A high-sensitivity e-skin is obtained by eliminating effect negative charge on output applying concept electromechanical coupling. Electromechanical Coupling Correction for Piezoelectric Layered Beams
This paper deals with the bending of layered piezoelectric beams (multimorphs) subjected to arbitrary electrical and mechanical loading. Weinberg [1] obtaind a closed-form solution to this problem using Euler–Bernoulli beam theory and integrated equilibrium equations. In his analysis, Weinberg assumes that the electric field is constant through the thickness of the piezoelectric layers. This ap...
متن کاملDynamic Electromechanical Coupling of Piezoelectric Bending Actuators
Abstract: Electromechanical coupling defines the ratio of electrical and mechanical energy exchanged during a flexure cycle of a piezoelectric actuator. This paper presents an analysis of the dynamic electromechanical coupling factor (dynamic EMCF) for cantilever based piezoelectric actuators and provides for the first time explicit expressions for calculation of dynamic EMCF based on arrangeme...
متن کاملDesign and Simulation of a New Highly Sensitive Gas Sensor Based on Negative Refraction Photonic Crystal
In this paper, design and simulation of a new highly sensitive gas sensor based on a hybrid photonic crystal (PC) structure, containing negative and positive refractive index sections, is presented. It has been shown that using a PC with negative refraction in the first section, the transmitted power is concentrated on the entrance of the sensing channel, and the transmission of the proposed se...
متن کاملElectromechanical coupling in piezoelectric nanobeams due to the flexoelectric effect
The flexoelectric effect is a coupling of polarization and strain gradient, which exists in a wide variety of materials and may lead to strong size-dependent properties at the nanoscale. Based on an extension to the classical beam model, this paper investigates the electromechanical coupling response of piezoelectric nanobeams with different electrical boundary conditions including the effect o...
